We can arrange one to one or group training in all aspects of finance and accounting, tailored to individual or organisational needs, at a time and a date to suit you (weekends and evenings included). 

We have worked with a number of organisations in the North Warwickshire, Nuneaton & Bedworth and Hinckley areas.  Recent training delivered includes:

• completion of cash book, recording income and expenditure, and bank reconciliation
• SORP 2005
• setting up computerised and manual accounting packages
• using computerised accounting packages

Forthcoming Workshops

Financial Management & Control - Date TBA

This workshop is aimed at those responsible for the mangement of an organisation's financial affairs.  The workshop is the first in a series of 4 designed with the voluntary sector in mind.  The workshop will cover cash management, completion of the cash book, bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasts and budgeting and reporting.  The workshop is for those working in smaller voluntary and community organisations, with an emphasis on good book keeping and cash management.

Financial Reporting for Trustees - Date TBA

The aim of this workshop is to help those responsible for presenting financial management reports to a committee or those who are part of a committee in a voluntary or community organisation to learn more about financial management reporting. This is the second in a series of 4 and is aimed at anyone who works in the community who has responsibility for reporting to or who is a member of a management committee. The workshop will cover Charity Commission Requirements, including the new thresholds for Audit or Independent Examinations, in addition to internal management accounting, variance reports and the timing and relevance of reporting.

Please note that these workshops are free to small community or voluntary organisations in the Nuneaton & Bedworth or North Warwickshire area (income less than £100,000).  The workshops are open to those living outside of this area at a cost of £30.00 per workshop per person (subject to availability).  Please contact Paula Wilson for more information.
